Which protocol to pick
One client covers the usual cases. The choice depends on the network, not taste. The protocol is set by the profile: you do not switch it separately on Home.
Veli
Our own protocol: to your ISP it looks like an ordinary website, it is hard to recognize, and we change the disguise on our servers — the app picks it up with no reinstall. Needs a Veli node: from Premium or a dedicated one that we set up for you.
VLESS + Reality
When you already have a VLESS server and camouflage as someone else’s site. Import it as a link. The best active-probe answer among third-party protocols.
AmneziaWG
WireGuard with header obfuscation. Fast, but on the wire it is random UDP — harsh networks catch it with heuristics.
WireGuard
The simplest and fastest when there is no filter. A server deployed from the app installs this or AmneziaWG.
OpenVPN
For old .ovpn files that will not import anywhere else. Slower and heavier than the rest.
Subscriptions
Clash, base64. Not a protocol — a way to keep the node list fresh. The interval is set in Settings.
Short version
A network with no blocks
WireGuard — less overhead, easier to run your own server.
They catch “random UDP”
You need a disguise as an ordinary website: Veli or VLESS Reality.
Games
No multiplexing and no UDP-over-TCP. Game mode has a separate “low-latency protocol” switch.
How to change protocol
The protocol lives in the profile
You do not switch it on Home. You need another profile: an import, your VPS with a different protocol, or another Premium country (that is Veli).
Profile editor
The gear in the list. Configuration tab — text or a link. Routes and DNS — your own DNS (Cloudflare, Quad9, DoH/DoT for VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2 and TUIC) and a server chain.
AmneziaWG on top of WireGuard
A regular WireGuard editor has an obfuscation button. Compatible works with a third-party WG server; Full only if the server has the same S1/S2/H1–H4.
Clients
The Settings → VPN clients table: WireGuard, OpenVPN, AmneziaWG, proxy protocols and Xray. If the profile is missing from the table — Install or Update.
