What happens when someone asks us for data

The best protection for data is not keeping it. So for most questions about users, we simply have no answer.

Requests for user data

The report is being prepared and will appear here.

What we could hand over at all

Only what's listed on the “What we store” page: email, subscription dates, device types, payment history and support requests. What we store

What we can't hand over

Who connected and when, from which IP, which sites they opened and how much traffic they used. None of this exists in the database or in server logs — it can be neither handed over nor recovered.

Our rules

  1. 01We respond only to requests made under the law. An email “from the police” without a legal document is not a request.
  2. 02We hand over the minimum the request requires — not the user's whole record.
  3. 03Every request is added to the counter on this page.
